Although WEBari will initially submit your new web site to the most popular search engines, this is not our business. We offer this page to our clients who wish to resubmit their sites either by themselves, or submit them through other 'submittal' services that are available on the Internet.

  • is undoubtedly the most utilized search engine on the Internet. But, they are very specific of the detail about the sites they list. Before entering your site, please first review the notes and the instructions below!!!

    Notes on your web site:

    1. Do all your links work?
    2. Does the 'Title' equal the contents on the site?
    3. Are the use of your keywords indicative of the site.
    4. Before you even think of adding your site, find exactly where it belongs. A wrong suggested location can get your site knocked out of contention.
    5. You may be better off adding it in a regional rather than under some other more specific heading.
    6. Review sites Yahoo already lists that are close to yours in definition. Make comparisons. Use these sites as a guide to prepare yours.
    7. Yahoo reviews thousands of sites so try to give them quality.
    8. Be careful of extended load times. Use a modicum of graphics.

    Short Instructions for Yahoo Website Submittal:

    1. Step A - Bring up Yahoo - Do a search looking for sites similar to your own. Review the categories found and select two which best fit you site. Write your second choice down and click on your first choice. Company Examples:

      2. --Business_and_Economy/Companies/..category../..sub-category..,      or
      --Regional/U.S. States/New Jersey/Business and Economy/Companies/ ..category..
    2. Step B - From your first selection page, go to the bottom and select Suggest a Site. Suggest a Site: Procedure pages 1 through 4 come up.
    3. Page 1 - Enter title: ...company name.../ URL / Description.
    4. Page 2 - Enter Category Suggestions - Bring up second Yahoo Category and repeat Step A.
    5. Page 3 - Enter Contact Information (Yours), Contact Email (Yours); City, State and Zip.
    6. Page 4 - Submit. (The rest may be ignored).

  • - Similar procedute to Yahoo. Select Top-down category. Business Examples:
  • - Enter: URL and Email. - Also has a look-up facility for locating URL on Lycos.
  • - Similar procedute to Yahoo. Select category.
  • - Enter URL only. Note: Removal information is also here.

  • - Enter: URL, Your Name and Email Address
